Casey House is committed to advancing HIV/AIDS health care beyond our walls.  Recently, Casey House collaborated on a national HIV, Health and Rehabilitation Survey (HHRS) that asked people about disability, concurrent health conditions, and rehabilitations services use. On December 15th, our research lead Soo Chan Carusone, will be joined by co-collaborators Kelly O’Brien and Melanie Bisnauth to share their findings.

The education session, called Mental Health and Aging with HIV: Results from the HIV and rehabilitation survey, is aimed at health care professionals and HIV/AIDS service providers, and is part of a mental health series hosted by Casey House.  Each event has a lecture and an interactive discussion concerning how to support people living with HIV who are experiencing cognitive concerns and challenges.
