Recreation Volunteers, Casey House Hospice
Minimum time commitment: 1 year
Recreation volunteers assist with organizing resident visits and outings, and organize small events in the hospice for residents.
Reception Volunteer, Casey House Hospice
Minimum time commitment: 4 months
Reception volunteers work once or twice a month covering lunch hour, maintaining the Casey House front space, greeting & directing visitors, managing the switchboard and monitoring traffic.
Appointment Volunteer, Casey House Hospice
Minimum Time Commitment: 6 months
This volunteer would be “on call” and would be called when a resident needs accompaniment to an appointment, i.e. with their doctor or at the hospital, usually St. Michael’s hospital, always within the GTA.
