In celebration of the twelve days of Casey House Christmas December 22-January 2.

1st day: One billion seconds of care. Casey House hit a milestone when we surpassed 1 billion seconds of caring for people living with HIV in November. It took over 31 years of moments, of gestures large and small.

2nd day: Two visits from Minister of Health Christine Elliott in which we appreciated the opportunity to highlight clients’ health care needs and share our innovative approach and care for the whole person.

3rd day: Three recipients of The Casey Awards. The awards recognize leadership in HIV/AIDS and social justice. Read about winners Mark S. Bonham; The Teresa Group; and Darien Taylor.

4th day: Fourth annual Jamboree for Charity beneficiary Mawer Investment Management generously raised over $100,000 for judgement-free health care at Casey House.

6th day: Six episodes of Positively Speaking, Casey House’s brand new podcast which gives voice to people living with HIV by sharing their diverse and compelling stories. Listen now.

7th day: Seven areas of focus in our new Clients’ Declaration, which takes into account the values of current and new Casey House clients and those who are most important to them. Read it here.

10th day: Ten performers or groups delighted the audience at our Voices for World AIDS Day concert. See the photos

11th day: 11 o’clock marks the end of Stretch It, a regular day health program activity with an hour of gentle range of motion movements with light stretching, followed by general self-care tips and conversation. Read more about the day health program here.
