Casey House has been fortunate to receive support from many of Canada’s leading corporations – either in the form of gifts to support our community program or as sponsors of our special events. For more information, contact Elizabeth Dalgleish.

Private Foundations

Casey House is the fortunate beneficiary of the support of many private grant-making foundations – both for program dollars, and in some cases, designated for certain project or equipment needs. For more information, contact Tracy Hatten.

Fundraising Events

Casey House holds two “signature” fundraising events each year: Art With Heart  and Voices for World AIDS Day. Art With Heart is one of this country’s leading auctions of Canadian contemporary art, and Voices for World AIDS Day is a concert raising awareness of HIV/AIDS. For event information, contact Jennifer Simaitis.

Community Events

Often, local businesses or friends of Casey House organize events where a portion of the ticket price or sale proceeds come to Casey House, or they simply ask for a donation at the door. Casey House may not play a role in organizing the event, but we are the fortunate recipients of the proceeds. To learn how your business or upcoming event could be of help to Casey House, contact Elizabeth Dalgleish or 416-324-5123 ext 4001.

Employee and Community Groups

Many employee groups and community organizations look for ways to support their community by coming together to support a charitable cause, through volunteering their time and talents at an event, organizing a team fundraising event or by designating a portion of annual proceeds to support Casey House. For more information, contact Elizabeth Dalgleish or 416-324-5123 ext 4001.

In-kind Donations

Not all the support we receive at Casey House is financial. We’re grateful for in-kind support; from catering staff and services, to coffee, rentals and equipment, and the literally hundreds of artists and performers who have donated their time and art to our cause. Treasures with Heart

Casey House, in partnership with Waddington’s, a leading Canadian auction house, offers a unique and easy way for you to turn antique furniture, jewelry, paintings, silver, ceramics and other fine and decorative art into a tax-deductible contribution benefiting people living with HIV/AIDS. For more information or to donate, contact Jennifer Simaitis.

Donation of Securities or Mutual Funds

As of 2006, gift of securities or mutual funds are more tax-effective than ever; donations of securities to any registered charity are exempt from capital gains tax. A gift of publicly listed securities to Casey House is almost as simple as a cash donation, and comes with the enhanced benefit of allowing you to receive a tax receipt for the value without having to pay tax on its gain. Learn More
