Casey House has grown from an ad-hoc response to a sudden health care crisis, to an essential and cherished lifeline for people living with advanced HIV/AIDS in our city. Today we provide care via three streams:
- Inpatient program
- Day health program services
- Community care program
- Community outreach program
- Social community programs
While a majority of our referrals originate from the health care system, particularly hospitals, Casey House is open to self-referrals from those living with HIV/AIDS, their friends or families and community providers, for all programs.
For referrals, please call 416-962-7600 and ask for extension 281. You may be prompted to leave a message, in which case an intake worker will call you back within 48 business hours.
A note about Inpatient Admissions: Clients are admitted based on their level of need. Priority is given to those who require palliative care. Respite care admissions are pre-booked and are based on the order of application received.
For other inquiries about our care, please contact Kathryn van der Horden, Clinical Manager, at 416-962-7600 ext 298
