Casey House Foundation raises funds to meet the growing demand for services from people living with HIV/AIDS in our community. In 1992 we launched the Home Hospice Program, which enables our care team to see clients at home or in the community, and assist them with coordinating their care. This innovative response helps us to extend our care to meet the needs of clients wherever they are and can be described as a hospital without walls.
Casey House's Community Program receives little or no government funding, and relies almost exclusively on fundraising. Other programs which are funded through the Foundation include: our Associate Physician, Complementary Therapies, Care for the Caregiver Program and the Resident Care and Comfort Fund.
Through all fundraising activities in service of our mission, we continually keep donors informed, with oversight by a volunteer Board of Directors. Read about our Accountability Practices here.
Through the generosity of our donors and special event fundraising, each year the Foundation grants approximately $1.2 million in support of our Community Program and special capital projects in the Hospice.
