Dr. Tim Guimond is a Clinician-Researcher at St. Michael’s Hospital. In addition to providing clinical services to concurrent disorder patients, he also teaches medical students, residents and students of other health disciplines in Motivational Interviewing, community reinforcement approach and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Tim’s educational background includes medical school at the Johns Hopkins University, and a psychiatric residency at the University of Toronto, where he also completed a Masters of Science in Statistics. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Wiplove Lamba is an addiction physician at St. Michael’s Hospital and a lecturer at the University of Toronto. He completed his medical school training at the University of Ottawa, his psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto, and an addiction fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine and skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and the Community Reinforcement Approach. His main interest is in capacity building for addiction medicine and psychosocial interventions.
